Landing Page copy

Client:

Joy Technologies, a content marketing agency. The target audience for this project were content managers, CEOs of small businesses, and solopreneurs.

Challenge:

As a relatively new agency, Joy Technologies was looking to bring new leads into their business. They hired me to create copy which would attract new leads and gather their email address.

This piece was written as part of a complete copy package, including cold emails, cold DMs and social posts.

Solution:

Traffic was being driven to the landing page from cold outreach. It was important that this landing page built trust quickly, so I made several choices:

- Easy to read, benefit-focused statistics to support the CTA

- The copy is easy to skim and act on, using short sentences and sub headings. 

For the cold outreach emails, DMs, and social posts, the main aim was to get them opened and to get the audience to either click or reply. Because people don’t really like getting cold messages, it’s vital to catch their attention in the first few seconds, so I put the main benefit to the reader at the top of each message. I wrote several options for each, so my clients could trial different versions.
